The Reluctant Web Designer
Let’s get one thing straight, I’m lazy! and if there’s one thing I hate, that is designing web sites. Just because I can put a website together does not make me a web designer!
That’s why I’ve put together this little list for all the other lazy designers out there.
1. Don’t start a design from scratch, look what’s out there and see what works!
2. Steal, beg, borrow, and buy scripts, there’s nothing wrong with spending money on a good bit of code, such as highslide js.
3. Use open source CMS such as wordpress, great structure, logical, easy to use.
4. Learn how to use Dreamweaver. Learn from video www.lynda.com, worth the money!
5. Keep learning!
6. Understand Colors.
7. Use color pix.
